Upholstery Service
Upholstery is our speciality - commerical, domestic and antique. Whether you want to revive a family heirloom or simply recover modern furniture to match a new set of curtains, we offer a bespoke service.
Quality is the most common reason why our customers decide to re-upholster their furniture. Most people already own the best quality furniture they will ever buy. Many people just want a new look, a different colour or just a change of scene. But they don’t want the inconvenience of replacing their furniture because it fits the room and is comfortable.
We will call to visit at a time that is convenient to you, where we will show you large range of fabric samples in the comfort of your own home.
We will provide a free no obligation quotation. You are under no pressure to go ahead. The free home visit is purely advisory and puts you under no obligation to buy. Alternatively, you can come and visit us at our workshop.
We can collect your furniture and deliver it once completed at a time convenient to you.

Upholstery Tips
When considering re-upholstery, always try to include replacement foams and cushions within your budget. This will greatly enhance a tired piece of furniture, transforming the appearance as well as adding to the comfort.
Before...
Where upholstery is soiled or dirty, always use a specialist cleaner. Although lots of fabrics can be washed at low temperatures (40oc), washing machines do tend to wear piped edges far quicker.
Regularly turn your cushions where possible. This helps to even out sun damage to furniture.
During...
Try not to leave repairs too late. A simple spring problem, if left, can eventually split the main frame, causing considerable damage and turn a cheap and simple repair into an unnecessarily long and costly one.
Choose your fabrics wisely. What appears to be a cheaper range can turn out to be a false economy for furniture that receives a lot of traffic. More is less in the long run.
